Are you aware of any leading employers in your area who provide support to other organisations in terms of leadership and management development

Purpose

The Advisory Panel provides a forum of experienced managers to:

  • Advise ministers on management and leadership issues;
  • Input to the development of management and leadership initiatives across DfES, DTI, the Leadership and Management Unit and the Devolved Administrations;
  • Provide a top-level reference group to support the activities of the Management and Leadership Board. It will provide the opportunity for the Management and Leadership Board to gain direct inputs from experienced managers to assist in understanding their needs and identifying appropriate responses.

Composition

The Advisory Panel comprises Chief Executives or equivalents from businesses of all sizes and from across the nations and regions. Membership of the Advisory Board is for a period of up to three years.
