Management Standards mapped Numeracy and Literacy

These PDF documents were developed as part of a collaborative project involving input from Asset Skills, the Management Standards Centre and Skills for Health. The aim of the project has been to highlight the literacy and numeracy skills required to function as an effective manager.

The mapped documents are based on the new suite of National Occupational Standards for Management and Leadership, which was launched in 2008.

These PDFs map the Adult Core Curricula for Literacy and Numeracy against the Management and Leadership NOS, to identify the specific maths and English skills a manager requires to work competently to the standard.  The documents contain active hyperlinks to the online Skills for Life Curriculum and should be used in conjunction with the NOS for Management and Leadership
